About

Woodbridge in the community

At Woodbridge, we believe our communities are strongest when we care for each other. Since 2020, more than $200,000 has been donated to frontline workers, youth sports programs, food banks and health-care organizations, among others, throughout Greater Vancouver. In addition, in 2022, Woodbridge worked with the Maple Hope Foundation to provide fully furnished and equipped homes to families displaced by the war in Ukraine. We are also proud to support community events such as the Port Moody Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, Golden Spike Days Festival in Port Moody and Kaleidoscope Arts Festival in Coquitlam.

Woodbridge Foundation

The Howard family established the Woodbridge Foundation in 2020 to celebrate 25 years of designing, planning and building multifamily communities. The annuity provided by the initial endowment of $1 million is being used to support organizations where Woodbridge has a presence.

The Woodbridge Foundation mandate is to support families in need through school meal programs. For the 2022-23 school year, Woodbridge provided funds directly to each of the following schools: Banting Middle School, Miller Park Elementary, Moody Elementary, Pitt River Middle School, Mary Hill Elementary and Central  Elementary. In addition, Woodbridge has prepared and hosted breakfast events at Norgate Xwemelch’stn Community School in North Vancouver.
