Woodbridge in the community

At Woodbridge, we believe our communities are strongest when we care for each other. Since 2020, more than $225,000 has been donated to frontline workers, youth sports programs, food banks and health-care organizations, among others, throughout Greater Vancouver. We are also proud to support community events such as the Port Moody Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, Golden Spike Days Festival in Port Moody and Kaleidoscope Arts Festival in Coquitlam. In addition, Woodbridge worked with the Maple Hope Foundation to provide fully furnished and equipped homes to families displaced by the war in Ukraine.

Woodbridge Foundation

The Howard family established the Woodbridge Foundation in 2020 to celebrate 25 years of designing, planning and building multifamily communities. The annuity provided by the initial endowment of $1 million is being used to support organizations where Woodbridge has a presence.

The Woodbridge Foundation mandate is to support families in need through school programs. This includes a recent contribution to School District 43 (Coquitlam) to send 100 children to spring break camps and organizing and serving a series of breakfasts to school children and their families at Norgate Xwemelch’stn Elementary Community School in the District of North Vancouver.

What people say

Woodbridge Homes has provided help for so many more kids than we have been able to or even needed to support in the past. We can’t thank them enough for providing this donation that allows Youth Workers to say YES to families in need at Spring Break this year.
